1. About this website

PlumbTech Melbourne (referred to as “PLUMBTECH”, “we” or “us”) provides information and enquiry facilities for plumbing services in Melbourne. These website terms apply to your use of plumbtechplumbing247.com.au.

Information on this website is general. A website enquiry does not, by itself, create a booking or an agreement for plumbing work. A service booking, quotation or invoice may have separate terms communicated to you before work begins.

2. Service areas and availability

PLUMBTECH focuses on Melbourne’s Inner East and South East. Service availability depends on the address, type of issue, staff availability and current workload. References to emergency plumbing or 24/7 enquiries do not guarantee immediate attendance or a particular response time.

If there is a serious electrical, gas, structural or other immediate safety hazard, keep clear and contact the appropriate emergency service.

3. Quotes, approvals and payment

We will explain applicable call-out or inspection charges, proposed work and pricing before you authorise chargeable services. Quotes depend on the condition of the property and the scope of work identified. Extra work or a change in scope requires your approval before additional chargeable work starts.

Where a quote or invoice specifies payment terms, those terms apply to the relevant job, subject to your rights under Australian law. Any stated price must be read with its clearly disclosed inclusions and exclusions.

4. Daily offer: $0 call-out fee*

The day shown in the offer heading changes automatically using Melbourne local time. The same offer condition applies every day, unless PLUMBTECH expressly changes or withdraws the promotion.

*The call-out fee is reduced to $0 when PLUMBTECH carries out the plumbing work you approve. If PLUMBTECH does not carry out the job, including where you decline to proceed after an assessment, the standard call-out or inspection fee applies, if disclosed and agreed before the visit.

The $0 call-out offer does not mean the plumbing work, parts, labour or other agreed services are free. Ask about any after-hours, specialist equipment, materials and additional charges before authorising work. The offer applies only to the call-out component of the bill and does not change your statutory consumer rights.

5. Property access and safety

Please provide accurate contact details, a safe way to access the relevant plumbing, and information about known hazards. Do not attempt dangerous plumbing, gas or electrical repairs while waiting for assistance.

We will discuss any limitations or unexpected conditions identified during inspection before proceeding with additional chargeable work.

6. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies consumer guarantees or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Services must be supplied with due care and skill and within any time agreed or, otherwise, a reasonable time.

Any workmanship assurance or commercial warranty is in addition to, rather than a replacement for, your rights under Australian law.

7. Website content and links

Website photographs and illustrations demonstrate service types and presentation concepts. They are not evidence of a particular crew, vehicle, completed project or guaranteed result. Service descriptions may change as offerings are confirmed.

Where this site links to third-party services, those services are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
